A natural medicine classic

The marigold is often referred as Mary's Gold, probably because of its intensely yellow-orange, long-blooming basket flowers. The marigold ointment is a classic of naturopathy and acts externally to promote wound healing, skin regeneration, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral and pain-relieving. It is therefore well suited for infected and poorly healing wounds, inflamed skin areas, sore baby buttocks and for scar care.

Calendula Oil - Oil extract of marigold

Our Mary's Gold contains a valuable combination of calendula oil and a tincture of marigold blossoms. Calendula oil is an oil extract from marigold blossoms with organic olive oil and organic sunflower oil. This nourishing combination soothes and supports stressed skin in a natural way. Propolis, which bees use to build honeycomb, enhances the antibacterial effect of marigold and makes our balm special.

Refined with essential oils

Our balm is refined with essential oils that make our recipe so special:

Rose geranium, the essential oil from the leaves of the geranium (Pelargonium graveolens), has a pleasant scent, is very skin-friendly, strengthens the lymphatic system, has a draining, tightening and wound-healing effect, is relaxing on a psychological level, balancing and induces peace.

Benzoin resin oil, obtained from the resin of the styrax tree (Styrax tonkinensis), has a strong regenerating effect on skin cells and gives the balm its warm, sweet-aromatic scent.

Carrot seed oil from the seeds of the carrot (see photo, Daucus carota) is also very skin-care, draining and decongesting the tissue.

Sustainable packaging

Our ointments are always filled in reusable amber glass jars. You can easily rinse them out and reuse them for small parts such as screws. When it comes to shipping, we only use what is necessary and therefore ship completely plastic-free.

Ganz großartig! Eine sehr großflächige und dunkle Narbe am Schienbein meines Freundes sah bereits nach zweimaligem Auftragen weniger dunkel aus und die Fläche war deutlich kleiner geworden. Keine Salbe hatte es bisher geschafft, die Haut an der Stelle dauerhaft weniger trocken zu machen. Diese hat alles auf einmal gebracht. Ein kleines Wunder für uns!
